Hilton Alve 1926-2015 RIP

The Alve family have today lost another of the 2nd generation of Alve's born in NZ. Hilton's biography in Alve.org begins,

Hilton was the third of Eddie and Laura’s children. He attended Opiki school briefly before transferring to Taiakitahuna. After his parents’ separation he moved to live in Palmerston North with his mother where he went to school first at Westend for a few months before concluding his schooling at Central School. He left school at the end of 1940, forgoing high school due to the outbreak of war.

Hilton moved to live in Taupo with his wife Jean and two daughters, Christine and Pauline, in 1955. They have lived there ever since, occupying their present home on the eastern side of Taupo in 1991. Their third child Russell was born in 1960.
Our loving regards at this time are especially directed to Jean, Christine, Pauline, Russell and their families. Hilton's funeral will be held in Taupo on Sat. 26 Sept. at 1.30pm.
